  Nice place for family fun. Plenty of tables and also bungalows for rent. Nature trails and lake to go fishing. Part of the portion of the Appalachian Trail enters the eastern edge of the park.

  Nice place to take a walk or have a picknick. You have to go early to get into the park during the summer. Camp grounds are fine and a good place to practice camping for first timers.

  This was our first time camping and we enjoyed it. These campsites made it easy for first time
  Campers like us. We were close to the bathrooms which were clean. There was a water faucet near by and friendly camp neighbors.
  
  Will go back camping again here.

  Went to beach is a really nice place to bring family on a day trip. There's a playgrounds for the kids to play there's also like a little boat house they have with food and I send things you may have forgotten they also have volleyball set up you can play volleyball you can't cook out on the grill is already there bring some music it was clean they also have bathrooms even though when I went you couldn't swim yet hopefully in the 2019 season will be able to swim but just the splashing part the kids enjoy themselves we also cooked out you can do birthday parties as well we enjoyed ourselves! I have been other times as well when you we were able to swim always leave their happy just remember to take your trash!

  Beautiful park with swimming and you can even boat there. But did you know that you have to pack up your garbage and take it with you? Yeah, it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. There were several announcements over the PA system reminding park visitors to take garbage home.
