  An open letter to the corporate management of
  Brookdale Care Facilities.
  
  I am writing this letter today to tell you about the wonderful team that you have at your Brookdale Highline facility in Denver Colorado. My mother was a recent resident there for almost two years before we moved her into a hospice facility. She became a resident with the previous ownership before Brookdale acquired the facility. Since your company has taken over the quality of the service, the staff and even the atmosphere have increased tremendously. The difference is very noticeable and much appreciated. There were several team members that were kept on that continued to provide excellent care for my mother and service to our family. Team members like Tia, Rahma and Andrea, just to name a few, treated my mother with kindness and dignity and treated our family with empathy and respect on every visit.
  The management and administrative staff were invaluable in helping our family navigate through the changes and special situations that occurred during my mother’s time there. Your promotion of Dennis to Director was probably the smartest move that your company made during that transition. He has proven himself as a leader and excellent operations manager. His administrative team, Claire (AR) and Ms. Arlette enjoy his management style and his positive attitude toward his responsibilities. His dedication to excellence with his staff and his facility were truly evident in our interactions with him. Jackie (RN) and Chantelle were compassionate and very attentive to my mother’s care and handled her special needs with the utmost professionalism.
  I myself am in the service business and I know the value of team members such as the ones you have there and how important it is to recognize them, by name, as often as possible. I am happy to take this time to formally recognize them all and let them know that they made our family’s experience at Brookdale Highline a very special one and for that we appreciate them very much.
  For any business a referral from a client is the highest compliment that can be given. We all tell everyone we can about your facility and staff and recommend that if they are in need of this type of care then they will find none better than Brookdale Highline. Our family continues on our journey through this stage of our mother’s life as it progresses through hospice and a skilled nursing facility. Along our way we will continue to sing the praises of your facility and its staff to the people we encounter. I believe you have an incredible team at your Highline facility and my hope is that you will share this letter with the rest of your facilities and shine a light on the wonderful service and care that this team provides.
