RN3 Loving Care Homes - Buckingham Assisted Living

I can't say enough good things about the RN3 board and care facilities. The owner Meine Wu and all her care givers (thanks, Doreen!) provide just outstanding service to their residents - they truly care about their well being and do everything possible to make their lives meaningful and comfortable. My mother went there this past August, also under hospice care and she was there until she passed away last week, two months short of her 98th birthday. The care givers are very competent, everything is well organized (meal service in the dining room, personal grooming, bathing, etc). The facility is immaculately clean. I have seen many board & cares in my day, and RN3 is the best - by a wide margin. You can rest assured that your loved one will receive the best of care at one of Meine's homes. BTW, Meine is an RN - her suggestions on eating, exercise, care, etc. were very welcome and spot on. I highly recommend any of the RN3 homes for your loved one.

This place is wonderful and has all the amenities you would need, plus more. The thing I like about RN3 is the staff is very patient and personable.

This is a well organized and family-operated business. I checked out all of their 3 locations before deciding to place my mom into their assisted living care home in the hills of El Cerrito. One of the biggest reasons I decided to choose a smaller facility is because of the personalized care they provide. The owner, Meina is a Registered Nurse and is very knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with most medical situations, which saved us a lot of time, money and trips to the hospital. They have workers watching 24/7 which provides a peace of mind for us. I know that my mother's life will be prolonged due to detailed and personal care she receives and I would recommend anyone who's looking for assisted living in the El Cerrito area to give them a call and take a tour.

My mother passed away in July, 2015. She lived for the last five years of her life at the RN3 Loving Care Home where she was exceptionally well cared for in her final stages of Alzheimer's disease. The owner of RN3, Meina Wu, took wonderful and thoughtful care of Mom through personal attention and the efforts of a dedicated and loving staff. Our family was impressed with how well staff made sure all residents were always clean, well groomed and eating properly; and that the facility always felt -- and smelled -- like a real home.

We have the highest regard for Meina for the way she manages RN3, and for providing a caring environment under difficult circumstances for families trying to ensure a safe and loving place for aging parents who need the right kind of support. We highly recommend RN3 Loving Care Homes for prospective residents and their families for whom it's a good fit.
