  Feels like going to the spa. There is never a wait, Dr. Lukens is friendly and informative, the eye measuring devices are cool, good music playing, my insurance benefits are always clearly explained, and Shelly and Mirium help me find the most amazing frames. What's not to love!?

  Don't let the shopping center location bias you against a great business. Great selection of frames and lens options, helpful and friendly staff, everything clearly explained. Definitely my preferred optometrist in Alameda!

  Very nice staff, on time with their appointments, helpful in picking out lenses. Doctor also took time to explain exam and findings. Would definitely recommend.

  Dr. Lukens has been taking care of our family’s eyesight for several years. He is personable, careful, and takes his time, explaining everything that needs to be explained. I think he is excellent.

  VSP? Look no further, this is the best place to get your glasses. Ask for Shelly Hernandez, she will go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care off. For example: my partner broke her glasses a week after getting them and Shelly called the insurance and help her get them replaced with no issue. I have been in the Bay Area for 8 years now and this place has been my best Optometry experience yet.
