Dawn Falls is a GREAT hike! Just follow the creek. Great redwood trees. Watch out for Poison Oak off the path.

Beautiful, easy access, some decent hill climbs to run if that's something you're looking for

This is a really nice, quiet, forested hiking area with a stream and a waterfall (that we didn't make it too) Some of the path is a bit narrow and muddy.. The only complaint I have is the parking. This place isn't easy to find and only has about 3 parking spots. It took me almost 10 minutes to back out because you can't really turn around and it's parallel parking; the road is very narrow and the park is at the dead end on the left. The location is residential, and if it weren't for someone showing me the place, I'd have no idea it was there. I would go back because it is very quiet and almost no foot traffic!

Really nice parking, very close trail. I saw a lot of excellent biking trails as well.
